The story starts way back in April 2008, when the new brewery in the Rue de France began producing in earnest. For a whole year, Raphael Mettler worked on his own – with the help of his wife Sylvie – in order to master the equipment, understand the market, develop distribution and introduce the product range, first to clients in the canton of Vaud and then – little by little – to the rest of Switzerland. Participating in various events on a national level (« Journées suisses de la bière in Soleure », « Salon des goûts et terroirs » in Bulle, etc…) allowed the brewery to develop rapidly and organising events at the brewery (« Mange, c’est de la bière », « Nuit de la Fraîcheur », etc…) helped Raphael to establish closer contact with his clients with a view to promoting customer loyalty.
In 2009, Mike Vermeulen, friend and ex-employee of skateboard days, joined the team, which developed steadily from then on.
